The heart of the encounter is somatic exploration, body and movement as a source of personal growth and development of other levels of consciousness. Discovering and creating through mindful practices, neuromuscular/energetic connections that can support our movement in any field of our somatic experience and transform interaction with the life that flows within and outside us.
The explorations will focus on the upper-lower body connection with particular attention to the role of the diaphragm, lower chest, and the thoracolumbar junction for its function of connection and transition of movement flow upwards and downwards, a crucial center of spiral movements. Myofascial connections will be framed according to the perspective of Chinese Medicine and the Sinew channels.
